Jim Horrar

Jim Horrar is a seasoned healthcare executive with a significant track record in managed care and hospital operations. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Managed Care at Community Health Systems since September 2022, Jim previously held the role of Senior Vice President at Centene Corporation where responsibility for P/L in the Mid-West region encompassed 2.2 million Medicaid, HIX, and MA lives representing $12 billion. At Community Health Systems, Jim's earlier roles included Vice President of Operations overseeing multiple divisions, managing substantial revenues and large employee counts across numerous hospitals in Texas, Missouri, Central Florida, and the Southeastern U.S. Jim was also the President and CEO of Quorum Health Resources, LLC, leading the largest hospital management company in the U.S. Prior experience includes key leadership roles at Humana Inc., focusing on national contracting and operations management. Jim holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University and degrees in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Louisville and Vanderbilt University, respectively.
