Rachel Laureano

Rachel Laureano serves as an Adjunct English Instructor at both the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and College of Lake County, where courses include Modern American Literature and Composition I. Rachel has substantial experience in secondary education as an English Teacher at Lakes Community High School, where responsibilities extend to coaching the Speech Team and advising the Black Student Union. Additionally, Rachel has contributed to community initiatives as a member of various coalitions and as a tutor, while also engaging with literary reviews and volunteer efforts at the Central Illinois Feminist Film Festival. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching of English from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Master of Arts in English Rhetoric and Composition from Eastern Illinois University.
