Temple Murphy

Temple Murphy is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in educational institutions, currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at Community High School District 128 since July 2002. Responsibilities include collaborating with district administration to create a comprehensive budget for over 4000 students and staff while ensuring adherence to best practices in system standards, application availability, security, and network operations. Previous roles include District I.T. Manager and Network Manager, where successful design and management of wired and wireless networks for 2000+ users were achieved. Prior to this, Temple was the IT Manager at Teenage Research Unlimited (TRU), focusing on maintaining network, server, and client systems while implementing business continuity strategies. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS in Computer Information Technology from the College of Lake County and further studies at DeVry University.
