Jay King

Jay King is an experienced journalist and educator with a background in writing and reporting. Currently serving as a Staff Writer and Reporter at Community Journals since April 2021, Jay has a diverse portfolio that includes a role as a Teacher Assistant at Spartanburg 01 School District from October 2016 to January 2021. Previous reporting experience includes working as a staff reporter for The Greer Citizen, where coverage focused on general news and features related to local and state government, and as a news reporter for Hometown News Inc., covering municipal, county, and state government alongside education and business.
