Kyla Witte

Kyla Witte has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kyla is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Community Labs, starting in June 2022. Prior to this, Kyla worked at Techstars from 2015 to 2021, where they held multiple positions including Sr. Director Program Operations, EMEA & APAC, International Implementation Manager, and Program Manager. Kyla'sresponsibilities included managing teams, optimizing accelerator execution, and developing global and regional projects. Before joining Techstars, Kyla worked as the USA Country Manager at Gourmesso from 2013 to 2014, where they successfully launched and managed their e-commerce site in the US market. Kyla also gained experience as a Consulting Intern at Endeva in 2012 and as a Case Officer at Hope Crisis Response Network in 2012. Kyla's earlier work experience includes roles such as International Logistics Coordinator at Star Trading and Marine, Inc. from 2010 to 2012, Market Research Assistant at Capitalis in 2009, and Research and Communications Assistant at Reporters Without Borders in 2008.

Kyla Witte pursued their education in a chronological manner. Kyla began their university studies in 2007 at The George Washington University, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Relations and Affairs. Subsequently, in 2012, they attended the University of Southern California, completing a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) program with a focus on Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management. During that same year, they also participated in an exchange semester at Hertie School of Governance, specializing in MPA.
