Gwen H. has extensive experience in financial operations and management, currently serving as the Financial Operations Manager for the Southern Interior Region at Community Living BC since April 2014, with a title change in 2021. Gwen also holds volunteer roles with Girl Guides of Canada, including Unit Guider, Unit Treasurer, Kootenay Area Treasurer, and Unified Banking Champion. Previous professional experience includes contributing as the Owner and Principal of Cayuse Creek Consulting, handling freelance writing and technical services, as well as working in various accounting and analysis roles at Zellstoff Celgar Ltd. and Syncrude Canada Ltd. Educational qualifications include a B.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, several management accounting programs from CMA-BC, and music education from The Royal Conservatory of Music.
