Tanay Deepak

Tanay Deepak currently serves as a Research Assistant at Michigan Medicine, focusing on vascular bench research related to venous thromboembolism. In addition, Tanay holds the position of Patient Care Attendant at Community Living Centers, providing care for an individual with spinal muscular atrophy type II. At the University of Michigan, Tanay is involved in several roles, including Expansion Manager for Blueprints for Pangaea, Logistics Chair for the Pre-Surgical Club, Representative on the Student Health Advisory Council, and a Health Screener for the Kidney Disease Screening and Awareness Program. Previous experience includes positions as a Medical Assistant at Retina Health Institute SC, Sports Coach at Playpen Sports Academy, Physical Therapy Intern at Access Health Care, and Pharmacy Technician at Jewel-Osco. Tanay is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Michigan from 2021 to 2025.
