Kimberly Bautista is a creative leader and advocate in the film and nonprofit sectors, serving as the Creative Director, Founder, Producer, Writer, and Consultant at ARTEVISTA Films since 2004. Under Kimberly's guidance, ARTEVISTA FILMS focuses on high-quality production that promotes equality and highlights the experiences of people of color. As Executive Director and Founder of Justice for My Sister since 2011, Kimberly shapes the organization’s vision and strategy, providing filmmaking training with an emphasis on gender equality and racial justice. Additionally, Kimberly leads the Justice for My Sister Collective at Community Partners, utilizing arts-based approaches to create safe spaces for marginalized communities. Previous roles include Segment Producer for LATV and Director/Producer for the award-winning documentary "Justice for My Sister." Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Culture as well as Media Studies from Pitzer College, and a Master of Arts in Social Documentation from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
