Russell Wong

Russell Wong has an extensive background in engineering and management, with significant experience in the manufacturing and plastics sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member at Community Resources for Science since October 2019, Russell previously worked at Bayer Pharmaceuticals from June 2000 to October 2018 in various positions, including Senior Manager of Manufacturing Sciences - Raw Materials and Principal Engineer. Prior to that, Russell held the role of Associate Scientist at Bayer Plastics (1996-2000) and Senior Engineer at Monsanto Plastics (1991-1995). Academic credentials include a PhD in Polymer Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, an MS in Bioengineering from the University of Utah, and a BE in Chemical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. Russell's educational journey began at Brooklyn Technical High School, where a High School Diploma in Chemical was obtained.
