Wendy Ansley has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Wendy began their career as an Instructor at Carleton College in 1982, and simultaneously worked as an Arts Education Specialist at Ansley-Engel Dance from 1982 to 2012. In 1994, they joined Minneapolis Public Schools and held various roles such as Elementary Education, Reading Resource, Gifted/Talented Resource, and Dance/Drama Specialist until 2010. Wendy also served as a Roster Artist in Dance at the Minnesota State Arts Board from 1984 to 1996. Currently, they are working as a Reading Specialist and Union President at the Community School of Excellence. Before this, they held the role of IB Primary Years Coordinator and Gifted/Talented Coordinator at the same organization.
Wendy Ansley holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota. Wendy later pursued a Master of Arts degree in Performance from New York University. Additionally, they completed various certifications in K-6 Education, K-12 Reading, K-12 Dance/Theater, and received a Gifted Certificate in 2012 from Hamline University.
