Director Head Start/early Head Start at Community Services Agency

Valeria Koss has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Valieria is currently the Director of Head Start/Early Head Start at Community Services Agency, where they oversee the operations and safety of 13 sites across 3 counties. In this role, Valeria manages federal and state grants totaling 7.9 million dollars.

Prior to this, Valeria worked at the University of Nevada, Reno as the Assistant Dean of New Student Initiatives. Valeria has also worked as a Project Manager Consultant, Center Director at C2 Education, Technology Instructor & Business Partnerships at The Dan Marino Foundation, and Operations Manager at Epilepsy Foundation.

Valieria'searlier experience includes roles such as Director of Family & Community Engagement at California Charter Schools Association, Education Pioneers Fellow with Teach for America, and SPED Teacher at Sojourner Truth Academy through Teach for America.

Overall, Valeria Koss has a diverse background with experience in program management, staff supervision, grant writing, and instructional roles.

Valeria Koss obtained their high school diploma from SCPA. Valieria then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government at UC San Diego from 2001 to 2005. Valeria later enrolled at Pepperdine University and completed their Master of Public Policy degree in International Relations and Affairs & Local/Regional Policy from 2005 to 2007.
