Albert Paez has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Albert started their career as an Executive Developer at AllMaia in 2011, where they worked until 2015. In 2013, they joined the Urban Assembly School for Emergency Management as a Founding Social Studies Teacher, a position they held until 2015. Following that, Albert worked as a High School Social Studies Teacher at Mamaroneck Union Free School District from 2015 to 2020, where they piloted an Integrated English as a New Language (ENL) co-teaching model and achieved high pass rates for Global History Regents exams. In 2020, they transitioned to a new role as a Partnerships Manager at Comp Sci High. Currently, Albert serves as the Assistant Director of Work-Based Learning at Comp Sci High, a position they have held since July 2021.
Albert Paez pursued their education in a chronological order. Albert first attended Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development from 2008 to 2012. During this time, they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Social Studies Teacher Education. Later, in 2012, they enrolled in Teachers College, Columbia University, where they completed a Master of Arts degree in Politics & Education in 2013.
