Cheryl Rogers

Cheryl Rogers has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Cheryl is currently the Business Development Director for Ancillary Sales at Companion Life Insurance Company since 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Symetra from 2014 to 2020 as the Business Development Director for Select Benefits, where they were responsible for partner training, sales support, and account management. Cheryl also served as an Independent Consultant specializing in Marketing and Product Management from 2012 to 2014, providing consulting services to health facilities, life and healthcare companies, and agencies. Cheryl has also held various leadership positions at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee from 1999 to 2012 and at UNUM from 1981 to 1999. Cheryl started their career as a Senior Tax Accountant at Provident Life and Accident from 1984 to 1989. Cheryl's experience encompasses business development, sales, marketing, operations, and financial analysis.

Cheryl Rogers attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1977 to 1981, where they obtained a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting. In terms of additional certifications, they became a Certified Financial Consultant Instructor through the Employers Council of Financial Consultants in August 2001. Cheryl also obtained a License as an Insurance Producer from the State of Tennessee, although the specific month and year of obtaining this license are unknown.
