Jane Tackett

Jane Tackett has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Jane began their career as a Programmer/Analyst at Computer Solutions/Software Professionals, Inc, where they developed customized accounting and construction industry software for various clients. Jane then joined Westinghouse Electric Corporation as a Systems Analyst, where they played a key role in the construction and implementation of the Item Control System.

After that, Tackett joined Michelin as a Programmer/Analyst, where they led systems support for Chemists and Engineering business units, including leading the development efforts for laboratory management software. Jane then joined Walt Disney World as an HR Systems Specialist, where they led reporting efforts for the Compensation department and assisted with transitioning the HR legacy system to PeopleSoft. Jane later became a Business Systems Analyst Sr., supporting different business units within Walt Disney World and working in the Information Technology Division.

Tackett then took a brief deviation from their IT career during an economic downturn and worked as a Sales Associate at Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, specializing in residential real estate in Southwest Orlando, Florida. Finally, they joined TM Floyd & Company / BlueCross BlueShield of SC as an IT Program Manager, responsible for managing IT programs.

Throughout their career, Tackett has had experience in managing teams, project management, business analysis, and supporting various applications and business units. Jane has utilized tools such as Primavera, Microsoft Office Suite, Caliber, and PeopleSoft.

Jane Tackett has a diverse education history. Jane began their undergraduate work at Converse University in 1977 and completed this program in 1980. Following this, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Education from Troy University in 1982. Jane then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Troy University, which they completed in 1983. Jane went on to further their education by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of South Carolina - The Moore School of Business in 1992.

In addition to their formal education, Jane Tackett has obtained multiple certifications throughout their career. This includes the ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB) from ASQ - World Headquarters in June 2016, the ITIL® Foundation CPD from AXELOS in April 2014, the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in April 2014, the Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute in March 2013, and the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in January 2020.
