Masoud Afghah

Masoud Afghah is a Senior Data Engineer at Compass Digital, where responsibilities include creating and maintaining components of the data platform on AWS, researching and implementing new architecture, and building EMR clusters utilizing Apache Iceberg for a revised datalake structure. Prior to this role, Masoud served as a Data Engineer at RBC, contributing to the development and maintenance of an enterprise data-ingestion pipeline with a focus on a containerized ETL platform on Openshift for data encryption and transport. Masoud holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto.
