Midya Tsoy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. They started their career as a Publisher's Assistant at Schema Magazine in 2010, before moving on to work as a Publicity & Marketing Intern at Random House of Canada Limited in 2012. In 2013, Midya worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Harlequin. They then joined Dovetail Communications Inc. as a Marketing Coordinator in 2014, followed by a role as a Marketing Specialist at STAPLES Canada from 2014 to 2017. Midya then worked at CAA Club Group, first as an Email Marketing Specialist from 2017 to 2018, and later as a Digital Marketing Strategist from 2018 to 2019. Their next position was at Compass Digital, where they held various roles such as Marketing Technology Manager, Senior Manager of Marketing Automation, and Senior Manager of Growth Marketing, before becoming the Director of Growth in 2022.
Midya Tsoy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing (Publishing) and Business (Marketing & Management) from Vancouver Island University. They also completed a China Field School program in Marketing and Management at Vancouver Island University in 2011. In addition, Midya attended Malaspina International High School and received a High School Diploma in 2007. They also completed a Print Measurement Bureau Online Media School program in 2014.
