Jaynanne Calaway-Habeck has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Jaynanne is currently working as a People Strategy Compass Guide at Compass Group Equity Partners since December 2021. In addition, they serve as the Board President of Masterpiece Arts Sanctuary NFP, starting from October 2021.

Previously, in 2019, Jaynanne founded their own consulting firm called Calaway Habeck Talent Consulting, where they served as the Founder & President. Jaynanne worked in the corporate HR world for 15 years, holding various leadership positions in Panera Bread. Their roles in Panera Bread included Chief People Officer, Head of HR, Vice President People Ops, Vice President, Total Rewards, Vice President, Retail Human Resources, Director, Human Resources, OD & Culture, Director, Organizational Development, Director, Human Resources, Senior Manager, HR Processes & Communication, and Manager, Human Resources, spanning from 2003 to 2019.

Furthermore, Jaynanne contributed to the community as a Board Member and Treasurer of Refuge & Safe Surroundings, an organization providing free counseling to children who are victims of trauma and their caregivers, from May 2016 to May 2021. Jaynanne also served as a Board Member and President of Compensation & Benefits Network from 2001 to 2009.

Earlier in their career, Jaynanne worked as a Consultant at Tucker Consultants from January 2001 to August 2003 and as an Associate at Towers Perrin from 2000 to 2001.

Jaynanne Calaway-Habeck completed their high school education at Civic Memorial High School from 1990 to 1995. Jaynanne then pursued their Bachelor's degree at Illinois Wesleyan University from 1995 to 1999, majoring in Economics, Finance, and International Relations. In 1997, they had the opportunity to be a Visiting Scholar at the University of Oxford, where they focused on Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. Continuing their education, Jaynanne obtained a Master's degree in Human Resources and Labor Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2000.
