Tom Ford is a seasoned professional in food safety and quality assurance with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Food Safety and Quality Assurance at Compass Group since December 2019, Tom has held key leadership roles such as Senior Director at Hissho Sushi Inc. and Owner of SafeFoodLLC in early 2019. Prior to these positions, Tom was the Vice President of Food Safety at Ecolab for 17 years and held the Vice President title at Fresh Management. Tom’s career began at Harris Teeter as Director of Quality Assurance and included a role in Quality Assurance at Jewel Food Stores. Tom holds a Master of Public Health degree from Benedictine University and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
