Joseph Simpson

Joseph Simpson is an experienced economist currently working in the International Arbitration practice at Compass Lexecon since June 2020. Prior to this role, Joseph held various positions at Nomura, including Senior Analyst, Analyst, and Summer Analyst in Global Markets, focusing on FX Sales and Rates Structuring. Joseph also completed Summer Analyst roles at Barclays in Savings, Wealth and Investment Management, and Willis Towers Watson in Investment Consulting, both leading to offers for full-time graduate roles. Joseph began a career in the service industry as a Bar Associate at J D Wetherspoon while studying at university, consistently working over 20 hours a week. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from UCL and a Master of Philosophy in Finance and Economics from the University of Cambridge, alongside foundational education at Colston's School.
