Luis Fernandez

Luis (Lou) Fernandez has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles. Luis (Lou) served as the Chief Financial Officer of Compass Marketing Inc., where they developed and implemented financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and accounting policies. Luis (Lou) secured significant financing for the company and standardized client contracts and agreements. Prior to that, they worked as the Managing Member of Independence Properties LLC. Luis (Lou) also served as the SVP & Chief Financial Officer of Tagnetics, Inc. / Powershelf, where they oversaw finance and administrative activities. Fernandez has also worked as a Management Consultant at Resources Global Professionals and as the Vice President of Corporate Audit & Consulting at Navistar Inc. Luis (Lou) held various positions at Siemens Healthcare USA, including Finance Director for Latin America and Director of Corporate Audit & Advisory Services. Fernandez started their career as a Senior Manager of Internal Audit Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers and as AVP of Audit & Technical Assistance Group at MB Financial.

Luis (Lou) Fernandez has an educational background that includes a B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University Bloomington, which they obtained from 1981 to 1985. Luis (Lou) also holds an MBA in Finance & Business Policy from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, which they obtained from 1990 to 1993. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and Certified Public Accountant from various institutions.
