Emre Demirors

Emre Demirors is the Chief Information Security Officer at Compass Mining since October 2021, with a robust background in software engineering and development. Prior to this role, Emre served as a Senior Software Engineer at ThreatGRID, part of Cisco, from May 2017 to October 2021, and held positions as a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Software Developer/Team Lead at Pason from December 2013 to April 2017. Emre's career began at J.P. Morgan as an Application Developer between December 2007 and December 2013, and Emre also has experience as a Programmer/Research Assistant at Purdue University from March 2005 to July 2007. Early in the career, Emre worked as a Mathematical Modeling Intern at Dow Chemical during the summers of 2003 and 2004. Emre earned a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Purdue University, where studies were completed from 2002 to 2005.
