Joanne Berry

Joanne Berry has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Joanne'smost recent role, starting in 2023, is as an Associate Director of Quality Operations at COMPASS Pathways. Prior to this, they held various roles at Ipsen from 2016 to 2023, including Quality Assurance Manager, External Manufacturing, Quality Validation Manager, Quality System Manager, Training Manager, and QA Compliance Expert.

Before joining Ipsen, Joanne worked at Elanco as an Internal Manufacturing/Contract Manufacturing Operations Quality Associate, where they played a key role in developing a quality system and providing support to internal manufacturing sites. Joanne also worked at AMRI as a Senior Quality Manager, leading QA and QC teams and ensuring quality and compliance at a contract research and manufacturing site.

Joanne began their career at Eli Lilly and Company in 2001, where they held multiple roles, including QA Group Leader, QCL Group Leader, Laboratory Coordinator, QCL Analyst, and MS&T Analyst. Joanne was responsible for various aspects of quality control, quality systems, and leadership at the API facility.

Joanne's early experience includes working as a Laboratory Technician at Kelco and Reckitt & Colman. Overall, their work experience spans various roles and responsibilities in the quality assurance and manufacturing sectors.

Joanne Berry completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry at the University of Hull from 1994 to 1997. Additionally, they pursued further education in Instrumental Analytical Chemistry at Anglia Polytechnic, although the specific dates for this degree are unknown.
