Laura Personius

Laura Personius is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and instructional coaching. Currently serving as a 3rd Grade Teacher at Compass Rose Public Schools since February 2024, Laura has previously held roles such as Instructional Coach at The Gathering Place and Education Manager of Pedagogy & Professional Development at San Antonio Zoo. Laura's experience includes teaching various grades at prominent institutions such as BASIS.ed and IDEA Public Schools, along with positions focused on outdoor education and animal care. Laura holds a Master of Education degree from Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Coastal Carolina University.
