Gastón Barbero

Gastón Barbero is a highly experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in software engineering. Currently employed at Compass since March 2023, Gastón has held similar senior roles at Beta Acid, Konfío, Rappi, and Toptal throughout 2021 and 2022. Prior to these positions, Gastón served as a Semi Senior Machine Learning Engineer and progressed through roles from Junior Machine Learning Engineer at Mercado Libre from April 2019 to July 2021. The career began with an IT Internship at Grupo OSDE from November 2017 to January 2019. Gastón holds two degrees from Universidad Empresarial 'Siglo 21': one in Software Analysis (2015-2018) and another in Software Engineering (2015-2021).
