Jared Kozak

Jared Kozak is an experienced engineering and technology leader, currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Compass since January 2022, where significant process and architecture optimizations reduced operational load by 80% and cut hardware and vendor costs by 55%. Prior to Compass, Jared held multiple roles at Amazon from January 2013 to December 2021, including Software Development Manager for Amazon Payments Experience and Amazon Gift Cards, where responsibilities encompassed managing payment experiences across various countries and overseeing a team that integrated millions of gift cards. Early in the career, Jared worked at TELUS from January 2005 to January 2013 as a Project Manager and Software Engineer. Jared holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University, earned between 2000 and 2004.
