Emily Allert-House has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in marketing, communications, and customer service. Emily is currently the Director of Digital Marketing & Experience at Compassion Canada since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Communications & Engagement Consultant at Nikita Marketing from 2019 to 2022, where they supported a multi-year community engagement project and worked on the production of a feature film. Emily also served as the Director of Marketing at Combina Global from 2018 to 2022, contributing to the company's significant growth. Additionally, Emily has experience in managing marketing and enrollment as the Managing Director at Prairie College from 2019 to 2021. Emily has held various other positions in communications and marketing throughout their career, including roles at West Campus Development Trust | University District, NEST Strategic Communications, Town of Cochrane, Alberta, SCI - Canada, Leisure Recreation Group, and Hudson's Bay.
Emily Allert-House has a diverse educational background. In 2005-2006, they pursued a Faculty of Arts degree in History at Ambrose University. Emily then obtained a Management Certificate Studies in Public Relations from the University of Calgary from 2008 to 2013. In 2009-2011, Emily earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Communications from Royal Roads University. Most recently, they engaged in Graduate Studies in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability at the University of Toronto - University of St. Michael's College from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, Emily obtained certifications in Digital Marketing from DIGITAL MARKETER and Google in 2022. Emily also has certifications in Conflict Resolution & Negotiation, Emergency Management, and Incident Command System (ICS).
