William Walker

William Walker is a versatile professional with extensive experience in both ministry and mental health care. Currently serving as a Pre-Planning Specialist at Canada Purple Shield since April 2020, William focuses on assisting individuals and families in Ontario with their estate and funeral pre-planning needs. As a Worship Leader, Artist, and Ambassador with Compassion International since March 2018, William further enriches the community through music and speaking engagements. Previous roles include Worship Pastor at Willow Creek Baptist Church from May 2008 to March 2018, where the organization of worship services and leadership development were key responsibilities. Earlier experience as a Mental Health Worker at Valley View Health Care Center and Christian Horizons laid the foundation for a compassionate approach to care, emphasizing dignity and respect for individuals. William holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry from Briercrest College and Seminary and a minor in Criminology from the University of Ottawa.
