Candy Vande Ven, SPHR and SHRM-SCP, has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Candy'smost recent position was as the Arizona HR Liaison at The Nature Conservancy, where they started in December 2018. Prior to that, they worked as the HR Director at Compassion and Choices starting in November 2013. From June 2010 to October 2013, they were part of the HR team at Sashco, where they managed recruiting, training, and development areas. Before that, they were a part-time HR Manager at Ascend Analytics from May 2009 to June 2010. From January 2007 to April 2010, they served as the HR Manager at Drexel, Barrell & CO., handling all aspects of human resources. Candy'sextensive work experience also includes being the Senior Director of HR/Office Services at the Arabian Horse Association from September 1989 to April 2006.

Candy Vande Ven, SPHR and SHRM-SCP (She/Her/Hers) holds a degree in Business Management with a specialization in HR from the University of Phoenix. Candy obtained the "Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification" from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in May 1997. In July 2014, Candy also obtained the "SHRM-SCP" certification from SHRM.
