Gilly Smith is a seasoned podcast producer and journalist, actively working in various capacities since 2016. Current roles include serving as an audio producer for The Food Foundation and producing podcasts for delicious. Magazine and Borough Market. Gilly has also been involved with Eye To Eye Media Limited and Compassion in World Farming, showcasing a strong focus on food-related content. Notably, Gilly produced and presented successful series for Radio Reverb, including the award-winning "Jaibli Salaam." Additionally, Gilly has experience in TV production and offers retreats for writers through A Sussex House. Gilly Smith held the position of Senior Lecturer in Broadcast Media at the University of Brighton, where expertise in TV and radio journalism was shared, along with academic writings on food media and celebrity politics. Gilly holds a Master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Research from the University of Brighton and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Journalism from Coventry University.
