Justin Dowds

Justin Dowds has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Pharmacy Manager at Sainsbury's from 2001 to 2006. Justin then founded Lemon Aid, a Scottish-based NGO that focuses on various projects in remote parts of Haiti. During their time at Lemon Aid, they were involved in the construction of a new solar-powered hospital, training and ministry center, as well as water installations and a school. Dowds also implemented a training program for remote health workers, working alongside the medical director. In 2012, they joined Compassion UK as the Corporate and Community Director and later held the position of Senior Director of Marketing and Engagement. Currently, Dowds serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Compassion UK, a role they have held since June 2016.

Justin Dowds obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Edinburgh Business School in 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Pharmacy degree in Pharmacy from Robert Gordon University from 1994 to 1997. In addition, they obtained a certification in Coaching and Developing Employees from LinkedIn in August 2019.
