Jim Zopelis, MS, PMP

Jim Zopelis, MS, PMP has over 18 years of work experience across various organizations. Jim served as Vice President of Business Development & Capture at Compendium Federal Technology and Director of Business Development at New River Systems. Jim was previously the Practice Lead of Cyber Defense and Information Technology at Solutions Through Innovative Technologies, Inc. and the Director of Cyber Security Business Development at By Light Professional IT Services, LLC. Prior to that, they were the Director of Business Development at Metova Federal Services. Jim also held various positions in the US Army, including Deputy Chief of Staff, Chief of Test and Evaluation, and Battery Commander. Their experience includes leading Air and Missile Defense operations, developing strategies to increase readiness, and offering quality assurance management for different programs.

Jim Zopelis received a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point between 1992 and 1996. Between 1999 and 2000, they obtained an M.S. in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology. In 2018, they earned a certification in Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute. Jim also has Level II Certified Logistics Management and Level II Program Management certifications from the Army Acquisition Corps, but the institution and obtainment dates are unknown.
