Afua Ofori, MBA, PMP

Afua Ofori, MBA, PMP has a wealth of experience in product and program management, operational excellence and innovation, and process improvement. Afua began their career in 2004 as part of the Barclays Africa Leadership Programme, where they led high-level strategic projects within credit risk management, service delivery, and retail banking. In 2006, they joined Cummins Inc. as Market Strategy Manager, where they identified and capitalized on growth and new business opportunities during the course of high-profile projects. In 2010, they moved to Humana, where they held three roles: Product and Programme Leader, Product Development Programme Manager, and Process Improvement Manager. In 2019, they joined Optum as Operational Excellence and Innovation, and in 2022 they became Head of Product at Complete Farmer.

Afua Ofori obtained a B.S. in Business Administration from Drake University, with a focus in Finance, Economics with Business Emphasis. Afua then went on to earn an MBA from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, studying Finance, Marketing, and Strategic Management. Additionally, they completed O & A Levels in Maths, Physics & Economics from Ghana International School. In 2010, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
