Knight

Richard Knight is an experienced freelance writer and educator with a diverse background in journalism and teaching. Since April 2011, Knight has contributed to Complex-Mag.com as a freelance writer for the video game section, producing monthly articles that typically consist of top ten lists. As an English teacher at Union Ave Middle School since September 2007, Knight employs project-based instruction to teach core curriculum to seventh graders. Knight has also worked as a freelance writer for The Daily Record since June 2006, focusing on local stories and events. As a fellow at the Academy of Alternative Journalism in 2008, Knight developed writing skills through collaboration and published work in the Chicago Reader. Additional experience includes a brief stint in public relations at The Happy Corp, where Knight managed communications and organized company events. Richard Knight holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Rutgers University, attended Northwestern University for further education.
