Chris Gibbs

Chris Gibbs has a diverse work experience in the field of IT infrastructure and operations. Chris has held various positions in different companies, demonstrating their expertise and leadership in managing enterprise systems and technology.

From 2023 onwards, Chris served as the VP of Infrastructure and Operations at Comply. In this role, they provided leadership for IT infrastructure, managed vendor and third-party relationships, and ensured the reliability and scalability of the IT infrastructure.

Prior to their role at Comply, Chris worked as the Director of Platform Engineering and Operations at CO-OP Financial Services from 2020 to 2023. Chris was responsible for the overall management and operations of enterprise systems, ensuring their availability and capacity.

From 2015 to 2020, Chris worked at Fiserv, where they held multiple roles. As a Principal Enterprise Architect and Director, they managed a team of architects and analysts and was responsible for talent planning and capacity management. Chris also worked as a Solutions Architect, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver technically sound solutions aligned with the company's strategic direction.

Before joining Fiserv, Chris worked as a Senior Data Center Engineer at the American Cancer Society from 2013 to 2015. Chris'sresponsibilities included designing and configuring complex systems in support of business needs.

Chris also gained experience as an Infrastructure Architect at Pentair and Tyco Flow Control, where they designed and implemented information systems to support enterprise infrastructure.

Chris began their career as a LAN Administrator at Tyco Valves & Controls in 1999, where they were responsible for maintaining LAN equipment and providing troubleshooting support.

Throughout their career, Chris has consistently demonstrated their technical expertise and leadership abilities in managing infrastructure and operations in various industries.

Chris Gibbs completed their education at the University of North Carolina Asheville from 1993 to 2006, earning a degree in Computer Science. Additionally, from 1999 to 2001, they attended Montreat College and obtained a BBA in Business. In 2018, Chris Gibbs obtained a certification in TOGAF 9 from The Open Group.
