Nickolas Cecilio has a diverse work experience in various software engineering roles. Nickolas started their career in 2012 at the University of Michigan as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, where they worked on a technology demonstration project designing a CubeSat.
In 2019, Nickolas joined Storm Group - Security and Defense as a Back End Developer, where they developed the backend for a Football betting app and worked on AWS Chalice and DynamoDB. Nickolas also worked on projects at Globo as a contractor and later became a fullstack developer at Globo, working on Python backends and VueJS frontends. Nickolas contributed to multiple apps, including a cloud-based AWS web app for Globo's journalism and an integration project for AI-driven automatic sports video generation.
In 2022, they joined Loggi as a Software Engineer II, and in 2023, they became a Software Engineer at ComplyAdvantage. In this role, they work remotely and utilizes the Kotlin/Python/Kafka/Yugabyte stack.
Throughout their career, Nickolas has gained experience in various programming languages and technologies, working on both backend and frontend development. Nickolas has a strong background in software engineering and has showcased expertise in building scalable and efficient systems.
Nickolas Cecilio attended the University of Michigan from 2010 to 2015, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering.
