Melody Monyok

Melody Monyok has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to 2022. From 2007 to 2014, they worked at Monyok Construction Services as a Staff Accountant and Day Laborer, where they helped develop and present the company, answered phone calls, took messages, processed payroll and taxes, and worked on-site during construction. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at BNU-HKBU United International College as an English Teaching Assistant, where they worked closely with professors to find creative and inspiring ways to teach English and assess students' skills. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at Access Information Systems as an Administrator, where they successfully managed field inspectors across a three-state area, worked with new law firms and real estate agents to implement them into the company database, and collaborated with the IT director to bring company systems significantly up to date and paperless. From 2014 to 2015, they worked at Lifetouch Portrait Studios as a Photographer, where they assessed the requests of each client to determine their needs and innovatively created products that caught clients' attention while increasing the sales percentage and client base of the studio. Finally, from 2008 to 2012, they worked at Gustavus Adolphus College as a Collegiate Fellow and Shuttle Driver, where they organized group events for residents, patrolled resident halls, wrote up residents for infractions to community rules, drove students to and from community service volunteer locations, and answered phone calls, ran errands, and helped with small office projects. Currently, they are employed at Compoze Labs as a Software Engineer.

Melody Monyok received their High School Diploma from Chrysalis Christian Academy in 2007. Melody then attended Gustavus Adolphus College from 2008 to 2012, graduating with a B.A. in Classics. In 2021, Melody obtained a Certificate in Web Development from the University of Minnesota, along with a Full Stack Web Development Certificate from the same institution.
