Jen Blackwell has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Jen currently works as the Director of Product Marketing at CompTIA, where they lead go-to-market efforts for cybersecurity certifications and training. Prior to this, they worked at Taos as a Customer Success Manager, optimizing the customer experience for enterprise clients. Jen also served as the Director of Marketing at Apollo Education Group and was responsible for all aspects of marketing and event coordination. Additionally, they held roles at NIC Inc., Guy Carpenter, LBMC, and TRI-COR, where they gained experience in project management and implementation. Before entering the corporate world, they served as an Intelligence Analyst in the US Army.
Jen Blackwell completed a Master of Science (M.S.) in Applied Information Management from the University of Oregon's Applied Information Management Master's Degree Program from 2016 to 2019. Jen also obtained an MBA from the University of Phoenix from 2005 to 2008. Furthermore, Jen attended the National Cryptologic School (NSA) from 1997 to 2000, where they studied Military Intelligence, General. Jen completed their Electronic Intelligence Interceptor/Analyst degree at the Fort Huachuca Military Intelligence School (MIS) in 1996 and 1997, focusing on Electronics Intelligence. Additionally, Jen obtained several certifications throughout their career, including Optimal Product Management and Product Marketing from The 280 Group in 2019, Six Sigma Foundations from LinkedIn in 2017, and an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PEOPLECERT in 2016.
