Matt Zarek

Matt Zarek is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and process optimization. Currently serving as the Business Process Optimization Manager at Compugen Inc since June 2024, Zarek previously held the role of Business Development Manager at SMARTECH - Manufacturing Technologies, where responsibilities included customer-facing sales generation of advanced manufacturing equipment and AI tools across North and South America. At Yissum Research Development Company, Zarek served as Vice President of Business Development, successfully leading the commercialization of academic intellectual property and fostering collaboration in the fields of quantum technology and advanced materials. Zarek holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto and both a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Chemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
