Roy Assis

Roy Assis is an experienced data engineer currently working at Compugen since October 2021, where the role involves collaborating with a data science team to review, refactor, and test Python code to ensure production readiness. Previously, Roy served as a data engineer at Giraffe Data Lab by G-stat from February 2020 to October 2021. Prior experience includes a position as a research analyst at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center from July 2016 to February 2020, focusing on data handling, statistical analysis, and utilizing various software tools such as Excel and SQL. Roy also held the role of research assistant at the medical center's bio-repository. Early career experience includes serving as a medical technician in the IDF from February 2006 to February 2009. Roy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Tel Aviv University and is currently part of a leadership development program at QUATRO Leadership Lab.
