Carolyn Cohn has worked in the field of editing and content management for over twenty years. Carolyn began their career in 1995 as Chief Creative Services at CompuKol Communications, where they were responsible for all writing and editorial content. In 1997, they moved to Applied Clinical Communications as a Medical Editor, where they edited primary and secondary articles for submission to medical journals and all meeting materials for conferences and symposia. In 2000, they became Chief Editor at Skila Inc., where they were responsible for editing all content in the company and establishing the company style. In 2002, they moved to Organon Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. as a Publications Editor. Carolyn then worked as a Manager, Medical Writing, Editorial, and Research at CogniMed Inc. in 2007 and as Managing Editor at Revolution Health LLC in 2008. In 2010, they became a Medical Editor at StemScientific, where they edited, proofread, fact checked, and researched journal articles, meeting materials, and promotional materials. Carolyn then worked as an Editorial Supervisor for SourceHOV from 2012 to 2017. In 2017, they joined Exela Technologies as Project Manager Web & Content. In this role, they edit and manages onshore content and manages and supervises a group of onshore editors and proofreaders.

Carolyn Cohn attended Williamsville East High School from 1974 to 1977 and obtained their Diploma. Carolyn then attended Buffalo State University from 1977 to 1981, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts in English. During 1979 and 1980, they attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem to study English. In 1984 and 1985, they attended New York University - School of Continuing Education to take a course in Proofreading and Copyediting.
