Lucian Bentea

Lucian Bentea is a highly experienced software engineer with a robust background in embedded development, system testing, and technical documentation. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Computas AS since March 2023, Lucian has held various technical leadership roles including Tech Lead at Inspera and Senior Software Engineer at reMarkable. Lucian's extensive experience includes backend development and platform engineering at Vipps, R&D engineering at Appear TV AS, and programming roles at CodeCogs and GeminiCAD Systems. Lucian holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Oslo and has authored technical documentation, notably contributing to the book "Getting Started with Delphi and C++Builder 2009." With a strong foundation in C++, Python, and embedded Linux environments, Lucian has consistently demonstrated expertise in building systems, automation, and collaborative software development.
