Ben Krutzen

Ben Krutzen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information technology, cybersecurity, and advisory roles. Currently serving as the Co-founder of Modelverse BV and ValueTracks Services BV, Ben supports start-ups and scale-ups focusing on energy transition and sustainability. As an angel investor, Ben's portfolio includes companies like Oceans of Energy and Leyden-Jar Technology. Additionally, Ben serves on the advisory board at Computest and holds the position of Chief Information Officer at the Shell Alumni Network, enhancing IT and security capabilities. Previously, Ben occupied senior roles at KPMG Netherlands and Royal Dutch Shell, where responsibilities included developing cybersecurity strategies and managing global documentation systems. Educated with a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from Radboud University, Ben's background also includes post-doctoral research at Imperial College London.
