Celia Gutierrez Valero

Celia Gutierrez Valero, PhD has extensive experience in human resources, particularly in management positions. From 2004 to 2014, they worked at Afina Sistemas Informáticos, where they held various roles such as HR Director Iberia & Quality Management and HR Corporate Manager Iberia & LATAM. During this time, they focused on implementing HR policies, including recruitment, training, internal communications, and compensation policies. 👋 Celia also oversaw the implementation of ISO 9001 for the Professional Services Department. Since 2014, they have been working at Westcon-Comstor, initially as HR Director, Southern Europe & North Africa, and currently as Iberia HR Director. In these roles, they have been responsible for implementing HR corporate strategies, designing HR programs, and integrating policies from different regions. 👋 Celia'sresponsibilities have included human resource planning, performance management, learning and development, career planning, employee communication, and health and safety.

Celia Gutierrez Valero, PhD attended the Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 1994 to 1999, where they earned their PhD in Psychology. 👋 Celia also studied at The Wharton School from 1994 to 2007, focusing on research in the field of psychology and business management, particularly in the area of transcultural leadership and effective leader behavior in organizations.
