Aleksander Pirnovar

Aleksander Pirnovar has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Aleksander started their career at Hermes Softlab in 2001 as a Software Engineer, eventually transitioning into the role of Lead Software Engineer. In 2005, they became a Team Manager and a Project Manager at the same company.

In 2010, Aleksander joined ComTrade as a Project Manager and Team Manager. Their responsibilities involved managing teams, ensuring task execution with high quality and within agreed timelines. Aleksander also hired and fired team members, provided coaching, and ensured team performance and deliveries.

At Comtrade Gaming, Aleksander served as the Head of the Configuration Management team, where they managed a team of configuration management engineers. Aleksander organized and led product configuration management strategies, and had responsibilities related to product development, test environment, product deployment, and source code administration. Aleksander also worked as a Release Manager, where they were responsible for delivering products to customers, ensuring quality, proper packaging and labeling, and availability of product documentation.

Additionally, they worked as a Project Manager at Comtrade, where they were accountable for delivering products and agreed changes to customers. Their role included removing obstacles for development work, organizing activities for successful product development, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Aleksander Pirnovar has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Computer and Information Science. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. These include being a Certified ScrumMaster® from the Scrum Alliance, having obtained this certification in May 2014. Aleksander also holds the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute, which they earned in May 2009. Aleksander has an ISO 9000:2000 Series TickIT/Lead Auditor certification obtained from Pera in April 2008.
