Annika Karody

Annika K. is a dedicated educator and experienced facilitator with a strong background in tutoring and mental health support. Currently serving as a Math and ELA Tutor at P.S. 30 Hernandez/Hughes and facilitating poetry workshops at Comunilife, Inc., Annika focuses on creating safe learning environments and promoting emotional growth among participants. Annika's diverse experience includes roles as an After School Tutor, Waiter at Olivier Cheng Catering and Events, and Tutor at Central Park Tutors, where personalized learning and student support are key priorities. Previous editorial experience at Penguin Random House, Restless Books, and Melville House has honed Annika's skills in manuscript evaluation, editing, and communication within the publishing industry. Annika holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Society with a minor in English Literature from UCLA and has completed training at William Esper Studio.
