Amber Bartley has a wealth of experience in the engineering and design fields. Amber began their career in 1997 as a Design Engineer at Advanced Component Systems, where they designed wood roof trusses and layouts in a high-volume production environment. In 2000, they became a Product Engineer at Lucent Technologies (Avaya, Celestica), where they interfaced with customers and engineering groups to ensure quality products and resolve problems. In 2005, they served as an Engineering Intern at Keymark Engineering, reviewing and designing connections for cold formed steel trusses. From 2006 to 2010, they worked at Innovative Mechanical Systems, Inc. as an Engineering In Training, working with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, plumbing engineers, and other design professionals in coordinating and refining building designs. During this time, they also worked as a CAD Technician at Swanson Rink, providing CAD support in creating 2D HVAC construction documents using AutoCAD. In 2009, they became the owner of AB Cadd Services, LLC. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a CAD/BIM at Virtual Building Logistics, LLC, creating and coordinating CAD and BIM projects. Finally, from 2013 to 2017, they worked at ConcealFab, Inc. as a Mechanical Designer II, Senior Mechanical Engineer, Interim Quality Assurance Manager, and Quality Assurance Manager.
Amber Bartley received their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Denver. In 2003-2004, they received a Provisional Teaching License in Secondary Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Amber also holds an Associate's Degree in Architectural Technology from Front Range Community College, which they earned in 1993-1994.
