Cheri Ackerman

Cheri is an experienced leader of scientific innovation with a unique mix of scientific expertise and project management. As an Activate Fellow, Cheri cofounded Concerto Biosciences, which she has led through its first round of funding to enable development of the first use-case ensemble for eczema. Cheri holds a PhD in chemistry (UC Berkeley; Hertz Fellow); she also developed a high-throughput diagnostic tool during her post-doc (MIT; NIH Kirschstein Fellow).
