Edward Sklar

Edward Sklar's work experience began in 1967 when they served in the US Air Force Reserve as an E4 until 1973. Edward then worked as the President of a security company, C.C.S./Spytech, from 1992 to 1996, where they developed an international distributor program and implemented retail store concepts. From 1997 to 2000, Sklar was a Software Business Development Executive at SCO/Tarantella, where they achieved President's Club status and conducted software sales to various clients. In 2000 and 2001, they worked as a Software Sales Executive at MessageGate. Sklar then moved on to work at ZANTAZ from 2002 to 2004 as a Software Business Development Manager, serving clients such as CIBC, J.P. Morgan Chase, and Citi. Edward then worked at Hummingbird from 2005 to 2006 as a Software Business Development Manager, winning the President's Club and Special Vacation Award. From 2006 to 2008, Sklar worked as a Software Business Development Executive at Mobius Management Systems, where they exceeded a multimillion-dollar quota and served notable clients including the Federal Reserve Bank and Citigroup. In 2008, they became a Real Estate Developer at Centam and played a crucial role in the company's growth from concept to $60,000,000 in revenue. Sklar then joined Concierge Business Broker in 2013 as a Concierge Business Broker. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at MergersCorp M&A International and started working there in 2020.

Edward Sklar obtained a Master's Degree in Business from Nova Southeastern University between 1977 and 1979. Edward also pursued studies in Marketing at Baruch College, Sales at Miller Heiman, and Business Strategy at Wharton Online. In terms of additional certifications, Edward Sklar obtained a certification in Mergers & Acquisitions from LinkedIn in April 2019. Edward is also certified as a Business Broker by BUSINESS BROKERS OF FLORIDA MLS INC and is a member of IBBA - International Business Brokers Association. Additionally, Edward Sklar holds certifications as a Real Estate Broker/Sales Agent from Florida and as a Realtor from the National Association of REALTORS®.
