James Booth

James Booth is an experienced educator and researcher with a strong background in biology and scientific research. Currently, James serves as a teacher at Concord Academy, focusing on 9th Grade Biology and advanced electives in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology and Epidemiology/Public Health. Previously, James worked as a consultant, preparing greenhouse gas inventories for local governments, and taught life sciences and mathematics at Waldorf High School of Massachusetts Bay, where lesson blocks included Biochemistry and Cell Biology. Notably, James spent time as a Principal Investigator at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, managing research on receptor trafficking in immune cells, and held academic positions at the University of Toronto, including Assistant Professor in the Department of Immunology. James holds a Ph.D. in Biophysics from Harvard University and a B.Sc. in Physiology and Physics from the University of Toronto.
