Alex Vernooij

Alex Vernooij's work experience begins in 2000 as a Mechanical Development Engineer at Sonion. In 2002, they moved to AMC as a Mechanisch Ontwerper and stayed until 2007 when they became the Hoofd Beheer Medische Hulpmiddelen a.i. at the same company. In 2008, Vernooij joined Leiden University Medical Center as Hoofd Ontwikkeling and later became the Hoofd Ontwikkeling / Hoofd Facilitaire Technologie and the Projectleider Instrumentele Zaken. Alex'smost recent role is as CTO at Concord Neonatal, which they started in 2018.

Alex Vernooij received a PDEng degree in Qualified Medical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1999, Alex obtained an Ing. degree in Fine Mechanical Engineering from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. Alex's education history also includes attending the Leidse Instrumentmakersschool from 1993 to 1996, although no specific degree or field of study is listed for this period.
